Disinfection Standard

What's covered, and what isn't.

Our disinfectant is EPA-registered for hard, non-porous surfaces — including dash, panels, handles, flooring, and vinyl or leather seating. The table below shows exactly what's covered for your fleet.

Surface / AreaDisinfectedMethod
Dash, console, door panels, handlesYesSpray, wipe, full contact time
Steering wheel, shift lever, turn signal stalkYesSpray, wipe, full contact time
Motorcoach flooringYesMop, full contact time
Motorcoach restroomYesSpray & wipe-down
Grab handles, rails, seatbelt bucklesYesSpray, wipe, full contact time
Seating — vinyl or leatherYesSpray, wipe, full contact time
Seating — cloth or fabricNoCleaned only — outside product's registered scope
EPA-registered, hospital-use disinfectant — 1:64 dilution, 10-minute contact time standard, applied by technicians in proper PPE per the product label. Product name, EPA registration number, and full SDS available on request.
Cloth and fabric seating falls outside our EPA-registered disinfectant's scope — but steam disinfection is available as an add-on. High-temperature steam disinfects through heat rather than chemistry, and it's the method the CDC recommends for porous surfaces like fabric and carpet. Ask about steam service when requesting your proposal.

FAQ

Questions we hear before we start

Do you disinfect seating? +

Vinyl and leather seating, yes — it's a hard, non-porous surface the disinfectant is rated for. Cloth and fabric seating isn't covered by that same product, but steam disinfection is available as an add-on for exactly that gap. Full breakdown is on this page above.

How often should our fleet be serviced? +

Weekly is the standard we build most recurring contracts around, since it's defensible for passenger and patient transport under most compliance frameworks. Service frequency is ultimately scheduled around your operational tempo — tell us what you run and how often, and we'll price accordingly.

Do you only do recurring contracts, or can we book a one-time service? +

Most clients are on recurring schedules, but one-time and as-needed service is available — the Motorcoach "Full Service" tier is specifically built for that. Reach out with what you need and we'll scope it.

What disinfectant do you use, and is it really EPA-registered? +

Yes — hospital-use disinfectant, EPA-registered, applied at a 1:64 dilution with a 10-minute contact time standard. We keep the specific product name and registration number for direct vendor-onboarding conversations rather than publishing them here, but full documentation is available on request.

Can you provide documentation for our vendor onboarding process? +

Yes. Our Written Safety Plan, Hazard Communication program, Exposure Control Plan, and Wastewater & Stormwater Compliance Plan are all real, standing documents — see the full list on our About page.

What areas do you service? +

San Diego County. We come to you — your lot, your fleet yard, or your facility.

Tell us what you run. We'll price the fleet.
